CURRENT ROLE:
TRAILBERG

Trailberg is a Manchester-based outdoor and activewear brand designed for movement, performance and everyday exploration.

Disciplines:
Visual direction, Paid media, Apparel graphics, Retail graphics, Collaboration

My role:
As one of two Graphic Designers within a four-person creative team, I contribute to the development and execution of Trailberg’s brand and campaign creative across digital and physical touchpoints.

My role spans paid media and email marketing design, translating strategic insight from the digital media team into considered visual outputs. I work closely with the e-commerce team to develop website assets, and support retail through the creation and artwork of in-store graphics across Trailberg’s Trafford Centre and Arndale locations, as well as JD Sports stores.

I have developed and rolled out visual identities for key seasonal campaigns, including Black Friday 2025 and Winter Sale 2025- defining the core creative direction and adapting it across digital, retail and in-store touchpoints. I have also designed event-specific apparel graphics and contributed to the creative delivery of the Trailberg x Thermore collaboration event.

PAID EMAIL MARKETING:

PAID ADS MARKETING:

A series of paid ads marketing assets designed to drive engagement and conversion across key product drops.

The visuals balance product-focused and lifestyle imagery, using clear hierarchy and consistent layout systems to ensure adaptability across multiple formats. Messaging is kept direct and

performance-led, allowing key product features and campaign narratives to be communicated quickly and effectively.

EVENT T-SHIRT DESIGN

Trailberg has an ongoing partnership with Glasgow-based sports retailer Exceed. In Summer 2025, the two brands hosted an urban orienteering event in Glasgow.

I designed the event T-shirts, exploring multiple creative directions. One concept drew on themes of travel, replicating luggage stickers as if applied directly onto the garment. Another reinterpreted the Trailberg logo as road markings within a wayfinding system.

The selected concept combined bold typography with topographic mapping, creating a clear and graphic interpretation of urban orienteering. The direction was well received, with Trailberg director David Makin, co-founder of JD Sports, recognising its potential for further development as part of the brand’s summer apparel range.
